2016 Veterans Day Parade
YORKTOWN, N.Y. - On Sunday, Yorktown held its annual Veterans Day Parade, which included hundreds of veterans, local civic organizations, Scouts, town officials, first responders and even a few classic cars and tractors.
The parade began at 2 p.m. at Lakeland High School. Marchers made their way down East Main Street in front of hundreds of spectators, with Scouts handing out candy along the way. The parade ended at John C. Hart Memorial Library, where a brief ceremony was held.
